Bachelorette Party (Part 2)

Wow. I really felt the bloggy love on that last post, I'm glad you all enjoyed it :) Here are a few more ideas and tips for a bachelorette party.

Decorations & Candy. I got this large plastic cup at Party City and I spruced it up with some jewels and more puff paint. For the font, I printed out what I wanted on the computer and then taped it to the inside so I could trace it. Turned out pretty well don't you think? Can anyone guess the font?

When we got to the condo I filled it with some lime green gumballs, black & silver sixlets, and of course some naughty straws.

Janine's friend Carrie also sent a super great naughty cake. I'll spare you the indecency, but here is what half of it looked like.

One night we dressed the theme. Loren & Janine made us all shirts that said "Bride's Entourage" and of course the bride had a "Bride-to-be" shirt. We also wore cute pink fanny packs in lieu of special story about the couple which you can read here.

We also had things like a "bachelorette" sash, a signature weekend drink (blueberry pomegranate martini's), necklaces, pins and other fun props. Many cities also have Pole Fitness classes that offer private classes. We took one in Savannah and it was great fun, highly recommended for a bachelorette.  Overall, a successful weekend and our bride is now officially ready for her big day!

  2. Hey Kristen! I was wondering if you had any insight on places to stay and things to do in Savannah for a Bach weekend. I am taking my sis in law and I have been to Savannah a few times but not for anything like this. Can you share any ideas you have on fun things to do?
    Thanks, Sasha

    1. Hi Sasha, we stayed at a VRBO (vrbo.com) and stayed right in the middle of Savannah which is a great option so you don't have to worry about driving or how you're going to get to the party scene! We did drive one place, to a pole dance workout, which was really fun! We also did a haunted pub crawl the last night we were there and was something really cool and fun to wrap up a great weekend. There are so many great restaurants and bars, you won't have any trouble finding a great place to spend your time. There was one restaurant that was really great that was right on the water, I think it was Huey's. Also great - Jazz'd Tapas Bar. Enjoy!!
